I really want to go on a rant about a lot of shit that I am sure will end up pissing people off. Not really my intention but it is inevitable.
Theorizing what would happen once we are "officially" visited by beings from somewhere other than here on Earth. What will become of the teachings of the bible then? Really now, how can we as a human race think that we are the only intelligent life out there. The universe is fucking HUGE and that is an understatement to say the least.
What are we going to talk about with those that are not from here anyway once we finally meet? I am sure we will exchange phone numbers, resumes, facebook pages not to mention strange looks. There will be many groups and organizations that will want to speak and learn from them. Scientists will want to examine and learn from them. Scientologists will want to redeem their tickets for a ride to never never land. Christians will want to teach them about some guy who died for their sins, 2000 earth years ago. What chapter in the bible is going to attempt to explain these higher beings? I say higher beings because they will obviously be the ones who made it here to Earth. Not us to there. We are still stuck in our own tiny galaxy. So will the aliens be our god(s). Who knows what will happen.
